Please do look at the dates page for Steve’s new 2018 solo tour, running between January 10th and March 24th 2018.
‘Songs & Stories’ invites the audience on a musical journey, charting the winding roads of Steve Knightley’s unrivalled career. The Show of Hands frontman showcases a setlist peppered with classic gems such as ‘Cousin Jack’, ‘AIG’ and ‘Country Life’ with his inimitable passion and flair. And in a rare glimpse into the personal playlist of a songwriting legend, Knightley also pays tribute to some of his influences along the way, from Dylan to Radiohead.

Steve is headlining Unplugged for Autism, a unique event from The National Autistic Society. Some of the finest musical talent is presented in an autism-friendly setting to create a great night which helps raise much needed funds to support the charities work.
Unplugged for Autism is an autism-friendly event. Stage lighting will be minimal and all acts will be performing relaxed acoustic sets. We’ll send out full information packs including pictures of the venue in advance, and will work hard to accommodate all access needs.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone out there who enquired about putting on a Grow Your Own Gig. We had over 500 enquiries in the end, which was more than we ever dared hope for, and certainly more than we could cope with! Over 75 GYOG gigs were scheduled this year and over 40 for 2015 so it was impossible to fit you all in. The 2015 Tour has now been finalised so if you haven’t heard from Vicky, we do apologise and thank you once again for all your enthusiasm and the lovely emails we have received.

Centenary: Words & Music of the Great War – A unique collaboration with Jim Carter & Imelda Staunton.
Last year Steve and Phil were asked by Ian Brown, who manages their old mates ‘Fisherman’s Friends’, if they would be interested in a major recording project to commemorate the Centenary of the Great War. So, since Christmas Steve and Phil have been working on a double album – ‘Centenary: Words & Music of the Great War’. We are now delighted to announce that this will be released on Ian’s label ‘Mighty Village’, through Universal Music, on Monday 30th June.
The first CD features twenty two of these classic poems set to songs and tunes that were well known at the time and played on instruments – Guitar, Concertina, Octave-mandolin, Harmonica, Fiddle, Melodeon, Piano and Double bass that were familiar to those that fought. The second CD is very different and is dominated by songs not poetry, with Show of Hands presenting distinctive versions of First World War favourites as well as newer material and songs written especially for the project.

As you may know we were bowled over by the number of enquiries for 2014 and so are carrying this idea on into Spring 2015. Now, we have a slight problem in that there are 450 of you who have enquired, and we have a maximum of around 40 dates to fill in 2015, so I’m afraid we are not going to be able to keep everyone happy!
For more details please visit the about page.
